What is procurement QC:
Basically the procurement QC Inspector is involved in the smooth operation of project by verifying the material request, purchase requests by implementing the project quality plan and procedures in accordance with company procedures and international standards or any other specific standards requirement.
Why quality is important in procurement:
The key objective of quality assurance during procurement is to ensure that only pharmaceutical products that are safe, effective, and of assured quality, and conform with internationally recognized standards for pharmaceutical products, are procured and that their quality is maintained until supplied to end users.
How is quality control important in any procurement cycle:
The importance of quality control in supply chain management are listed as follows: Identifying defects and scrap: If there are defects in the raw materials, quality issues are bound to arise in the finished products. It will make the entire production processes inefficient and thereby, increasing the defect rates.
What is procurement process:
The procurement process includes the preparation and processing of a demand as well as the end receipt and approval of payment. Comprehensively, this can involve purchase planning, standards, specifications determination, supplier research, selection, financing, price negotiation, and inventory control.

While purchasing aims to minimize the cost of an order, procurement aims at other objectives like risk mitigation, contract compliance, cost savings, ongoing supplier relationships, etc.
